- Beauty and the Beast story: A pdf / slide show presentation of the ballet story illustrated with PBT photos. This is an easy way to preview the ballet for your class.
- Trailer for the ballet on YouTube: a 2-minute video that gives a quick plot overview and a feel for the production elements.

Ballet activities
- Use these photos to try out the five basic positions of ballet
- Dance the Story video (PreK and elementary)
- PBT teaching artist reads the Beauty and the Beast story, followed by a ballet class and themed movement activity set to music from the ballet.
- 0:00 – 7:00 – story reading
- 7:00 – 14:11 – quick and easy ballet class
- 14:11 – end – learn the Rose dance (use a prop for this activity if you can! An artificial or paper flower is perfect, or even a pencil will work!)
