Join us to learn about Cinderella and the U.S. premiere of this magical ballet from the choreographer herself, Jayne Smeulders. Jayne is a former principal artist with West Australia Ballet and has choreographed numerous works. She created Cinderella in 2011.

Meet tonight’s Cinderella, Tommie Lin O’Hanlon; Prince Charming, Colin McCaslin; Fairy Godmother, Grace Rookstool; and Pierre the Jeweler, Kurtis Sprowls! Come to the front of the orchestra section for this fun and informative conversation.

It’s always easier for kids to appreciate and understand ballet with a little preparation! Join us for a story time, learn a dance from Cinderella, and take a craft kit home! Enter at the main Benedum entrance on 7th Street: check in is with Benedum security, please mention you are attending the Family Workshop.
Curtain Up!* | Sunday, May 19 | 1 p.m.
The program begins with a special opportunity to watch the last few minutes of company class after which time Maestro Charles Barker, the PBT’s Orchestra’s music director and principal conductor, will discuss Prokofiev’s transcendent Cinderella score.
