Student Matinee Logistics

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Beauty and the Beast student matinee on February 23, 2024! This page is for schools and groups attending the matinee.

At the student matinee you won’t receive physical tickets, seating is assigned and you’ll receive a color-coded seating sheet with the seating placement for your group. You will enter the theater according to the color of your seating assignment (pink, blue, green or yellow) – entry doors will be marked with each color.

You will receive your color-coded seating sheet by email about a week before the matinee. Please note! In the past we’ve mailed out hard copies of the seating sheets; now we plan to send by email only (unless you need us to mail a hard copy, we are happy to do so!). Please print the sheet and bring to the theater, or have the sheet pulled up on your phone when you arrive at the matinee.

Please review the following information before coming to the theater to help make the experience of getting into the theater and to your seats as easy as possible!

Checklists – including to-dos and important logistical information

Bus sign – please print and place in bus window if applicable.

Take-home flyer – print and send hard copy home with students, or email the link to caregivers. This is a great way to let caregivers know what students will be experiencing at the theater!

Benedum Center security information – take a look at the theater’s security regulations before arriving.
