Endowment
An endowment is more than a fund—it’s a promise to the future.
Gifts to PBT’s endowment mean the ability to sustain breathtaking performances and enriching programs that bring joy to our community year after year. But it also fuels creating the future, allowing us to give new life to the classical tradition, nurture new talent, create bold works, and expand access to the transformative power of dance.
Supporting our endowment means supporting:
Repertory: Invest in ballet’s greatest works and brightest choreographers — a critical factor in cultivating world-class artists, talented trainees and exceptional audience experiences.
Live Music: Heighten the performance experience by securing permanent funding for live orchestral accompaniment.
Scholarships: Advance an equitable, accessible art form and put premier training within reach for talented students in financial need.
Education & Access: Bring the research-backed benefits of ballet to classroom curriculum, early childhood education and therapeutic and recreational programs for people with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other special needs.
Supporting our endowment means leaving a legacy of beauty, creativity, and inspiration that will resonate for generations.
Create a Legacy
Memorial and Honorary Giving
Honor a loved one with a memorial or honorary gift to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Endowment. A gift to the endowment creates a permanent impact well beyond our lifetimes. We joyfully send notifications to the honorary recipient or family of memorial gifts.
Named Funds
You can give any amount to go into an existing fund at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. If your gift will be for $50,000 or more, you can choose to start a named fund and designate its purpose (e.g., scholarships, education programming, production support).
For additional information or to discuss options to customize your contribution, please contact Aziza El Feil, associate director of development, at 412-454-9127 or ael-feil@pittsburghballet.org
Planned Giving
Distinguish your family legacy with a planned gift to PBT. Whether you choose to remember PBT in your will, donate stock or name the company as a trust beneficiary, planned giving offers multiple options with significant tax benefits.
