General Production Rental Policies
We do not rent to educational institutions, ballet schools, non-professional companies, or companies without adequate staffing to provide proper care for the rented materials and equipment.
Please note that in some cases, productions may be restricted to one specific choreographer and/or designer. In a few other cases, there may be designer restrictions on the companies to which we may rent a production. PBT will advise of any specific restrictions at the time of inquiry.
Rates are based on total time of rental and number of performances. In addition to the fee, a refundable security deposit, partially refundable cleaning deposit, loading charges, and designer royalties must be paid before the rental package may be picked up. At PBT’s discretion, larger productions may require a representative of PBT to travel with the production to supervise load-in, strike, and/or fittings. A certificate of insurance for the full replacement value of the rental package will be required. A complete list of estimated charges and requirements specific to any production may be provided upon request.
