Get swept away by the U.S. Premiere of this entrancing rags to romance story, and fall in love with the classical choreography, gorgeous costumes, magnificent sets, live music and a fairy tale ending that’s just the perfect fit.

Join us to learn about Cinderella and the U.S. premiere of this magical ballet from the choreographer herself, Jayne Smeulders. Jayne is a former principal artist with West Australia Ballet and has choreographed numerous works. She created Cinderella in 2011.
Family Workshop | Saturday, May 18 | 12:45 p.m.
It’s always easier for kids to appreciate and understand ballet with a little preparation! Join us for a story time, learn a dance from Cinderella, and take a craft kit home! For this program go around to the back of the theater building and enter at the Stage Door of the Benedum Center, 719 Liberty Ave. Space is limited, please register.

Curtain Up!* | Sunday, May 19 | 1 p.m.
The program begins with a special opportunity to watch the last few minutes of company class; then we’ll be joined by Maestro Charles Barker, music director and principal conductor, PBT Orchestra. Maestro Barker will discuss Prokofiev’s transcendent score for Cinderella.
