Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre presents ‘bucket list’ program in ‘PBT Premieres’

“The bold lineup that’s being billed as “PBT Premieres” will include Jiri Kylian’s “Petite Mort” (1991), Mark Morris’ “Sandpaper Ballet” (1999) and “The Concert” (1956), the first Jerome Robbins work to enter PBT’s repertoire.

The program “shows the kind of broad strength the company has in dancing different kinds of ballets,” says artistic director Terrence Orr. The fact that PBT is able to execute a program of this diversity and caliber “puts us way at the top with a lot of good companies.”
